Bid Directly on Available Shipments

After receiving information on available shipments from the Bid Freight Network, carriers can bid directly on those shipments that meet the specific criteria. Using the standard template for bidding, carriers simply complete the bid template providing the shipper with detailed cost information. The bid template also allows carriers to specify a total bid price and easily indicate assessorial fees, making the process more efficient.

Upon completing the bid template, the carrier simply clicks on the "Submit Bid" button, and the Bid Freight Network will send the bid directly to the shipper

Review Bids and Directly Accept the Award

Using "Your Bids" button gives carriers the ability to view the status of bids. If a bid is awarded by the shipper, the carrier will be notified by the Bid Freight Network and can supplement either Fax or Pager notification as options.

Upon receiving an award, the carrier can simply review the specific details and either "Accept the Award" or "Decline the Award" by clicking on the respective buttons. If the carrier chooses to accept the award, the system will automatically generate a bar-coded printable "Delivery Order".

Carriers can also provide shippers with up-to-the-minute information on the status and progress of shipments in transit. Using the "In Progress" button, carriers can give shippers a status or the exact delivery time, provide additional information if the shipment is going to be delayed, or simply confirm delivery of the shipment.
